Changed my mind about unsubscribing.
Just so you know...I like to talk. I can talk the ear off of a talk
show host and never let him/her get a word in edgewise. Just ask my
local radio club... I never shut up and by golly they like it that way.
I also am a retired but very sick person and I spend so much time alone
that it would wear anyone's patience very thin, all except mine. I am
used to it. Ham radio and this group is my only true joy in life and I
consider you all part of my extended family.
If all this just sounds a bit mushy, I have no idea what to say about
that. All I ask is that you be patient with me and you always have the
option of the delete button.
That said...I fixed my problem. There is some obscure menu setting on
my TS-480 that I forgot to set. Menu 47...Audio output for data
communications.
I made 15 contacts in JARTS so far. Not much activity out there right
now. I worked everyone I heard.
