Correct. Only 2Tone can know when FSK transmission starts and end so has to
control PTT. Maybe I should remove the no option. Not being a FSK operator
had not seen that one. PTT on audio input is optional as VOX does the
business here.
I always use 2Tone DOOK with my two K3. More flexible than FSK and the K3 is
so good that you will be unable to send poor AFSK/DOOK unless you use
unscreened cable and a $1 sound card.

Having difficulty setting up 2 Tone FSK transmit.
Here is what I'm trying to setup:
- K3 with a W3YY FSK Optical Interface (uses Pin 3 for RTTY TxD)
- PCI serial port (com 3)
- Win 10 (Home, Creator),N1MM (latest update)
- 2 Tone 16.11a
FSK transmit works with MMTTY.
2 Tone setup:
- FSK Tx
- Com 3, FSK = TxD , PTT = No
When I transmit, I briefly see a Tx red indication, and I see what I
intended to transmit scroll across the screen. FWIW, Receive works fine,
both setup as the primary N1MM RTTY interface, and as an additional Rx with
MMTTY setup as primary.
