SD supports all keyboards. For a German keyboard, copy
SDMAP.DE to SD.MAP. This has to be done once only.
Here is the contents of SDMAP.DE. On each line, the
first character is mapped to the second. You can edit
this, and add or delete lines, as necessary.

Then, with Caps Lock on, the top row on the keyboard
(under the function keys) gives you numerals while
logging in SD, and you use F1 - F8 for the keyer. There
is no need for Alt-F1 - Alt-F8, even on a laptop.

No - SD was designed for ALL keyboards, not just UK/US.
