The Hungarian DX Contest takes place from 1200 GMT on Saturday 15th
January to 1159 GMT Sunday 16th January. It's single or mixed-mode
on SSB and CW, and single-ops may choose between single-band and all-
band categories. MO is all-band mixed only. Full rules at
http://www.mrasz.hu/vbizhir/rules/2004/hadx%26ob/hadxkulfkiir.pdf.

SD directly supports this contest. It is freeware from www.ei5di.com
and it runs on any Windows PC.

Select Option 10 - General, Country and Area Multipliers.

Mixed-Mode Contest : Y/N (your choice)
If Mixed
     Mults count on
         both modes : N
     Work same station
         on both modes : Y
______________________________

You can work everybody, but only HA stations count for
multipliers (and extra points).

Send/Receive 59(9) + serial, except that HA Stations send
59(9) + 2-character county code OR their HADXC membership
number (up to 3 digits).

After the contest, use SDCHECK to prepare your .LOG
file in Cabrillo format. The rules for 2004 stated
that Cabrillo logs were not acceptable. However, with
SD, and most other contest loggers, that's your only
option these days.

Email your log, as an attached file, to contest@enternet.hu.

Paul EI5DI
