The NAQP takes place from 1800 UTC Saturday 20th January
to 0600 UTC Sunday 21st January. It's an SSB-only event
on the 6 contest bands from 160 - 10m. There is no
high-power section - only LP (100w) and QRP (5w).
North American stations may work everyone. Others may
work NA only (any North American country, not just W/VE).
SD supports single-op entries in NAQP. V13.13A runs on any
Windows PC and is free from www.ei5di.com/sd/sdsetup.exe.
Select SD's "NAQP" template.
NA entrants send Name + QTH (State/Province/Country
abbreviation). DX entrants send Name only. No reports
are exchanged.
For DX entrants, SD displays non-NA calls in red. If
it's not red, then it's OK to work for points.
After the contest, use SDCHECK to prepare your Cabrillo
.LOG file. If you specify high-power, your entry will
be treated as a checklog.
Don't email your log. Instead, open it with Notepad,
use Edit/Select All, then Edit/Copy, and finally
Paste it (using Ctrl_V) into the form at
http://www.ncjweb.com/naqplogsubmit.php.
If you get stuck, refer to the Help button on that
webpage.
73,
Paul EI5DI
