The RSGB 1.8 MHz Contest takes place from 2100 UTC Saturday
10th February to 0059 UTC Sunday 11th February. It's a
CW-only event on 160m.

Rules at http://www.contesting.co.uk/hfcc/rules/r18mhz.shtml

SD supports this contest. V13.14 runs on any Windows PC and
is free from www.ei5di.com/sd/sdsetup.exe. In the previous
event in November 2006, 35 out of 46 UK entrants used SD.
www.contesting.co.uk/hfcc/results/2006/18m2nd2006.shtml

UK Entrants - select SD's "RSGB 1.8, UK" template.
   Non-UK Entrants - select SD's "RSGB 1.8, DX" template

UK entrants work everyone
Non-UK work UK only (inappropriate callsigns display in red).

Send and receive : 5NN + Serial (+ district code if UK)
UK entrants should add their district code to SD's F2 exchange
message using Shift-F2.

When logging UK stations, you may log serial and district code
in a single field. For example: 26WA, followed by Enter, is
expanded to 026 WA in their respective fields.

New for 2007: SD extracts and auto-fills the District Code
from a callsign database where each record starts with the
callsign and ends with the district code - anything else is
ignored. If it's what you hear, Enter logs it, otherwise
overtype the correct code.

After the contest, use SDCHECK Option 1 to create your .LOG
file in Cabrillo format.

   Contest Name : RSGB-160
   Log Serial Sent : Y
District Code : UK - Enter your 2-character code as sent.
                   : Non-UK - leave blank
   Log Serial Rcvd : Y

Rename your Cabrillo file to YOURCALL.LOG and email it, as
an attached file, to 1st160.logs@rsgbhfcc.org

73,
Paul EI5DI
