You can get an updated CQWW.CTY file from
www.ei5di.com/sd/cty.zip

This year, for the first time, you have to be
careful to log the correct zone from countries
such as W and UA (and some others) that have
more than once zone. If you get the zone wrong,
you lose the QSO points (and possibly a mult).

I recommend using SD in OVR (overwrite) data
entry mode, rather than INS (insert) mode -
toggled by the INS key. In addition, the Auto
Insert mode (toggled with AI) makes it easier
to correct or complete callsigns while logging.

Auto Insert applies only to OVR data entry.
Please experiment with a test file before the
contest.

SD's Band Analysis, below the Callsign field,
is useful. If both characters in the band
are highlighted, the current QSO will be a
double multiplier. If only the first is
highlighted, it will be a country multiplier.
If the second is highlighted, it will be a
zone mult. As you type prefixes, you see
your multiplier status instantly for all bands.
If the band characters are black, then you've
worked this station on that band - and the
total (of bands worked) is shown after the
callsign.

To see countries worked and wanted for any zone,
simply type the zone number in the callsign field.
Use Esc to clear the field.

With Caps Lock off, F3 displays zones worked
and wanted for all bands.

SD V16.04 is available from www.ei5di.com.
Select the "CQ WW" template, and SSB as the
mode.
