The RSGB CW Club Sprint takes this evening, Wednesday
9 October - 1900-1959 on 80m. There are QRP (10w) and
LP (100w) sections. HP is not permitted.
Rules at
http://www.rsgbcc.org/hf/rules/2013/rsprint.shtml
SD V17.17 is free from
http://www.ei5di.com
Select the "RSGB 80m Sprint" option.
Enter CW for the mode, and your Name for the exchange.
The Sprint has a specific QSO format, depending on
whether you are being called, or are the calling
station. When ESM (Enter Sends Message) is enabled,
SD sends your CW messages in the correct format -
no need to alter CW memories in advance. Again, with
ESM, your mode is toggled between Run and S&P as
appropriate.
If you use any QSO format other than the recommended
one, you may confuse potential callers and lose QSOs.

UK entrants work everyone. Others work UK only.
Exchange Serial + Name (no 5NN)
It's easier to log the serial and name as a single
field. For example, SD expands "4FRED" to "004 FRED"
when you press Enter.
Following any QSO where you called CQ or QRZ, you
must QSY at least 2 kHz before calling another
station or calling CQ.
After the contest, upload your Cabrillo log, from
SDCHECK, to www.rsgbcc.org/cgi-bin/hfenter.pl
