Haven't seen any chatter about this weekend's CQ160m contest. NC4NC,AA4S,
possibly W4OC, and myself will be putting on a Multiop effort this weekend
from here near Greenville,SC. If anyone is interested in coming and
operating you are most welcome. Need a 2/3rd SECC member participation to
be able to add to the club score. Have 2 fully functional stations(2 ops
can operate at the same time) ready to go with the 70 ft shunt fed tower
and 4 500 foot beverages. No W8JI station but we'll have fun nonetheless.
The 1/4wl 160m Rohn 25 tower vertical will be going up as soon the weather
warms up and I'll be interested in making comparisons from this weekend and
next year's contest.
