Congrats to the Op's at NQ4I and KM9P for the Big scores. I made a S&P scan
across each band over the weekend to look for members and found Nq4i on some
band each time. Missed them on one band--- 160--- my favorite ! Got km9p on
2 or 3 bands. No packet or internet down in the swamp so had to really
listen to find these guys. The telltale delay tone on the signals really
helped to locate them, even tho it made copy difficult.
Dan, NTI, I had the same problem--- only ant. here is a 160 M Zepp at 30 ft.
Makes for 'Ruff' receiving on the high bands. Maybe I,ll get a new QTH
someday !
S&P scans netted me 403 Q's 246 M's and 265,680 pts for the club score.
