Sounds like W4AN ran into a GOTA station that was not
properly supervised.  At W4KJ we had at least two
unlicensed GOTA operators who showed real promise as
contesters - at all times they were coached by a
licensed ham using split headphones and a written
script they could refer to and they were taught to
identify needed stations by typing the call into the
logging program. IF done right, the GOTA idea is
great.  If not done right, it will be a major source
of annoyance to dyed in the wool Field Day fans such
as myself.
