Hi All...
I really look forward to doing a NAQP from somewhere else other than
the "black hole" of Ohio !!! I'm still learning the propagation down
here but here is something I discovered - It seems like most evenings -
at least in the summer - 10 meters seems to be open pretty good to
w1/w2/w3/w8/w9/w0 via sporatic E - usually around 8-10pm local. I have
heard tons of beacons between 28200-28300 but hardly anyone was on the
band. The W1AW code practice was booming in just the other night. I
even worked K8GL in the IARU contest around midnight and he was 20 over
!!! So make sure to checkout 10 after it gets dark....
