Sure can tell I'm in the midwest -- four ND and five NE QSOs!
Barely got an antenna up -- my trusty old 40-20-15 wire dipole, about 35
feet high. Got excited when the tuner in the IC765 got a match on 10M, but
the antenna was a poor performer. I got K9DX and N0NI (my first IA mult) on
80M -- with repeats!
Worked a boatload of SMCers, along with plenty of SECC and Colorado friends.
Thanks, guys.
Getting on the air sure makes the new QTH feel like home!
