Not criticizing Dave's post in the least, but I could not care less
about the rest of the world. The ARRL is supposed to represent all of
its members, not just the majority. The ARRL is also a non profit
organization, and petitions which tend to increase their income by way
of increased advertising and the promotion of the new products could
very well put that status in jeopardy.
And the fact that the majority are "shack on a belt" is a direct
result of the ARRL and its BOD in past actions.
