Hello all:
Not too much interest in submitting claimed scores for last weekend's
contests. Dave, K4JRB, was active in the Holyland DX Contest; N4GG,
Hal, was active with about 20 contacts in each of several contests;
Jeff, KU8E, made a good score at the beginning of the Michigan QSO Party
before departing with his family for a family birthday gathering in the
Atlanta area.
1. YU DX Contest.
K4BAI 45 21 4,431 2.2 hours.
2. GACW DX Contest.
K4BAI 16 21 1,470 .9 hour. Yes, one of those rare
contests where, if you only make a few QSOs, your multiplier may exceed
your QSOs. That's because both CQ Zones and DXCC countries count for
multipliers, like CQ WW.
3. Ontario QSO Party.
K4BAI 30 CW QSOs 5 Ph QSOs 32 total mults = 2,592. Believe it
or not, a new Georgia record score.
4. Michigan QSO Party.
K4BAI 142 CW QSOs 43 Ph QSOs 55 CW mults 24 Ph mults 25,833. 11.25
Hrs High Power
K5OT 135 0 60 0 16,200. Low Pwr.
A lot of mobile activity, particularly on CW. Some fixed stations too.
Lot of fun even though I have all Michigan counties confirmed.
Have a good week.
73,
John, K4BAI.
