Matt,

Thanks for the points. W4KXY was the op' on 432 and W6IZT was the op' on
50. The W4NH crew operates from Milehigh Campground between Cherokee and
Maggie Valley, NC, just off of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We did reasonably, and got a bit of aurora during Sunday evening all the
way up to 432 MHz. I was the op' on 222 and experienced my first AU
contacts. Wow! I believe the best 222 DX was EN41. Conditions were a bit
flat on 6m.

Here is a summary:

VALID PTS PER QSO GRID SQUARE
          QSOs QSO POINTS MULTIPLIERS
50 MHz 289 1 289 98
144 MHz 232 1 232 66
222 MHz 54 2 108 29
432 MHz 79 2 158 31
902 MHz 6 3 18 4
1296 MHz 11 3 33 5
2304 MHz 1 4 4 1
TOTAL 672 842 234 197028

OPERATORS: K4EA K4RBM K4SZ K5AND N4GER NX9O W4ATL W4KXY W4SKI W6IZT
WE8W WW8RR

To my knowledge, only 3 of the 12 are SECC members.

We have never seen so much rain on the mountain as we did for the June VHF
contest this year. Fortunately, setup and teardown were not that wet.

We'll be back there in September.

Cheers,
