Comments:
I worked furiously during the last couple of weeks to get my new 40M
wire array, towards NE, installed. And it paid off! 40M is so much more
fun with a good antenna. I had a great run of European stations, many
of whom called me on my frequency! After 35 years of suffering with the
broadcast stations and split operation on 40M phone, the light is
visible at the end of the tunnel.
20M is still my weakest band. With only one wire array (to NE), it was
hard to work anyone who was not in Europe. Consequently, I spent a lot
of my time on 15M. I still have S5 to S7 line noise, in the primary
directions. My apologies to all that called that I could not copy
through the noise.
See you all in the Georgia QP and the WPX CW.
