Hi guys.
I will be editing the web today to add the prizes you fellows have drummed up.
I think I will group them in to "GA" and "Out of State" topics for listing. I
will also put in a blurb for sponsor donations too.
Please post notices where you can, I will get some more notes out too, after
the site is current.
Tommy's plaque update will be in this edit also. RM is again not sponsored and
Tom is considering taking that class off the plaque list. DX QRP Phone is also
again open. I think he is right, we will drop them next year.
I saw Jeff's mobile tips, good stuff, helps to let folks know that mobile ops
can be done even with simple setups. My mobile is back in minimal operation,
after a bit of rebuild. I am ready to go.
Jeff, did we get a rover into Jones Co? If not I will go.
Thanks,
Mike, NE4S
Please use ne4s at iham.us or mike1230 at mcnet.us as my address.
Be well,
Thanks

Subject: Re: [SECC] GQPBonus Prizes - Proposal
I haven't heard any feedback.....
Mike , Gordon (K4OD) or whoever... have we decided to go with these for the
prizes ??. I would like to post a message to cq-contest about this tomorrow. It
is especially important to publicize the fact about the prizes offered to the
states bording GA. I think this might encourage someone who is in one of those
states to spend more time in the GQP. It can be very frustrating to be in one
of those border states when most of the activity is on 20 meters and the
signals are skipping over you.

We presently have a budget of $160. Please send your donation to K4OD. Right
now we are slightly under budget (not including shipping) but couId use some
more donations to help with shipping costs. I have gone to Lane Packing's
