This week's contests:
1. NAQCC Sprint. 0030-0230 Thurs UTC (Wed local). 80-10M CW, 5 W max.

100W max. Exchange: Both calls, QSO #, Name, SPC. Slow speed practice
at 0200-0215.
3. MARAC SSB Counties Contest. 48 hours of the weekend. 80-10M SSB.

4. His Mjesty King of Spain CW Contest. 12Z Sat to 12Z Sun. 160-10M
CW. Exchange RST + EA province or RST + serial #. Work any one, any where.
5. Manchester Mineira All Americas CW Contest. 15Z Sat to 2359Z Sun.
80-10M CW. Exchange: RST + Continent Abbreviation. CWJF members send
also /M, QRP ops send also /QRP, and YL ops send also /YL. That means
put the / at the end of the exchange, not at the end of the call.
Apparently activity is limited to SA and NA. In the past this has been
a SA closed contest and they have opened it to NA also only in the past
one or two contests.
6. Flying Pigs QRP Club May Sprint. 01-03Z Mon (Sun local). 160-10M
CW. Exchange: RST + SPC + FP # or power.
Due to my trip to Dayton for the Hamvention, I will miss most of the
contests this weekend. Might get back before the MARAC and MMAA
contests are over. Probably, will just be QRV in the FP sprint on
Sunday night. Hope to see a lot of you in Dayton. Be sure to attend
the contest forum on which I will have a small part regarding the WRTC
in Brazil last July.
73,
John, K4BAI.
