Well-- here is my little score for my first ever QSO Party, let alone
one for RTTY.
I think I spent too much time on 10-meters when I found a few signals
there and then tried too hard to work the ones that were not copyable
and off frequency. I was surprised at the number of stations that were
calling just far enough off frequency that it required 2,3 or even 4
tries to get them tuned in. When in the run mode if they are not on you
frequency it makes it difficult.
Was able to coax 50 wts out of the Orion without burning up the finals.
Supposed to only run 35. Low power sure makes it more difficult.
I did have several good runs on both 20 & 40 meters when I was in the
run mode.
