Hope everyone has a nice weekend and a lot of QSOs. Please try to get
on in the NAQP SSB and encourage some of the new HF ops with your QSOs
and QSLs if they request them. WY4N, KF4GTA, WW4LL, W4DD, W4BW and I
will be M/2 in this contest from the NQ4I station signing W4AN, the SECC
club call. Please try to work us on all bands. As M/2, we will be
running on two bands all the time, so you should hear W4AN a lot.
I will probably see if I can find any NJ stations after I get home on
Sunday and definitely plan to work the FP RFTB Sunday night. Those of
you who don't operate these QRP events are missing a lot of fun. I have
recently purchased a WM-2 QRP wattmeter so I can be sure about my power
output at low levels. Turns out that my guessing from higher range
wattmeters was a little under 5 watts and I can increase about one watt
with confidence with the WM-2 in the line.
73, John, K4BAI.
