Comments:
FT1000MP, 100 W, TH6DXX, zepp, dipole, inverted vee. Six minutes each on 20 and
80. 24 minutes on 40. 20M was open weakly only to the west coast and only
mults were CA and OR. Don't know why no WA. I heard W0BH in KS at 0215Z, but
he was long gone with the skip by 0230Z. 40M was long, with the closest QSOs
being TX and MA. Heard W4NZ and N4GG, but no QSOs on 40. 80M was noisy. We
had a line of thunderstorms moving through. Nevertheless, the highest rate was
on 80 with the farthest QSOs being K0AD and K5NZ. Welcome to N2NT and N8EA, who
aren't regulars in this fun sprint event. Also, welcome to newcomer KC0ZQR. Joe
in CO, who pitched in like a veteran on 40. In addition to GA, another mult
heard, but not worked on any band was K9BGL. Hope to see you all (and some
more guys too) next Thursday. 73, John, K4BAI.
