Tom, I think the modems that Bellsouth gives you when you get their DSL service must be cheaply made. I have had to replace mine at least two times. The one I have now puts out some type of RF. I get birdies and buzzing sounds when I am using my center fed zepp on both 15 and 10 meters. It goes away when I turn off the modem. I think the modem is made by Westall.
