This week's contests:

1. NCCC NA CW Sprint Practice. Usual NS rules. Thurs local, 0230-0300Z
Friday. 160-20M LP CW. Send both calls, #, name, SPC. Usual QSY
rule. Dupes
OK after band change or one intervening QSO. Slow Speed (SNS) practice
same night
0200-0215. 80-20M. Same rules. Max speed 23 WPM

2. CQ WW RTTY Practice Sessions. I sent out an announcement from W0YK
on these and
failed to make a note of the times. Thurs and Friday local, Fri and Sat
Z. Probably 0230 to 0300,
but not sure. Use CQ WW RTTY exchange and rules.

3. CQ Worldwide DX Contest, RTTY. 48 hours of Sat and Sun UTC. 80-10M
RTTY. Exchange for W/VE:
RST + State or Province + CQ Zone. Others will send just RST and CQ
Zone. GA and SC are in zone 05.
AL is in zone 04.

4. Scandinavian Activity Contest, SSB. 12Z Sat to 12Z Sun. 80-10 M
SSB.  Exchange;
RS + #.

5. Texas QSO Party. 14Z Sat to 02Z Sun; 14 to 20Z Sun. All modes.
All bands except WARC.
RS(T) + SPC or TX County. In the past, they have required county line
stations to send two complete
exchanges. Count a QSO and a mult for each exchange. This QSO Party
will be diminished this year
due to recent storm damage. However, many mobiles and fixed stations
will be QRV, perhaps on a more
limited basis than usual. Hope we can show our support by QSOs.

6. UBA (Belgium) Contest, CW. 06-10Z Sun. 80M CW. RS + # (+ Belgian
club code). Work only Belgium stations.

Hope everyone has a good week and weekend. 73, John, K4BAI.
