At last (on the third try), the page is working and the SSSC Team is
registered. Thanks to all for volunteering. Work as many as you can
and have fun. Hope to work you all tonight. Those of you who didn't
join a team, please join in the fun and work the team members and anyone
else you can. 7 to 11 PM. SSB on 20, 40, 80M. Exchange: both calls,
#, name, SPC. QSY after you work a station who calls you. 5 kHz to
call CQ again. 1 kHz to call another station. If you call a station
and work him, you keep the frequency and try to get a caller if you can
and then you QSY. So, you can work two in a row on a frequency if you
call the other station first.
Hint: Sprinters give their calls at the end of the contest exchange if
they are going to stay on the frequency. If they will have to QSY after
the QSO, they give both calls at the beginning. That way, when you hear
a QSO, you should be able to tell who is going to keep the frequency and
you will know whether or not to drop your call in (depending on whether
you have already worked the station or not).
Post your scores to 3830 or send them directly to me. And, of course,
submit them to K4MA via the upload page in the rules (preferred) or via
e-mail. 73, John, K4BAI.
