Antennas:
Cushcraft A3S/A743 at 15m high
Equipment:
Elecraft K2/100 w/ KAT100 running 50 watts on battery power.
Comments:
Hooked up to a deep-cycle battery to operate 1E. Only could spend a
few hours Saturday afternoon. Was trying to focus on 15m, but
eventually went to 20m to get a little running in.
Had a couple of incidents on 20m. I was in QSO with someone else, and
someone dropped on me and started calling CQ FD. I think some of these
guys were out of practice, as they didn't seem to know what QRL meant.
Oh well.
Nice to get on the air.
