Comments:
Storms in the area all weekend made it a challenge. Adding to the
excitement was my Ring rotor quit working when I powered up Saturday
morning.
I think it's the first time since I've been contesting that I got to log
more
than 10 contacts on 10m. I was way off from last years score but I figured
it would be with the QRN WX forecast. I went the flow and slept in both
mornings.
I worked K4BAI / PJ4A on 5 bands but missed him on 160m for the sweep!
QRN was deafening. No chance.
WPX always brings contesters out and this was no exception. Great to see
everyone and thanks for the contacts.
