With good weather today and tomorrow and good luck, my antenna project
may be finished tomorrow thanks to K1TO, KU8E, and K4ETY. Hope everyone
has a good week and weekend and a lot of QSOs. I'll try to hand out a
few QSOs in the state QSO parties and the YO contest. And in the SARL
contest if only I couod find a ZS in it. My guess is that it must be
primarily an 80 and 40M contest, since I seldom hear any activity on
20M. Maybe this year will be different. Good to see many contesters in
Huntsville last weekend. The ACG did a good job with the contest forum
and the SEDXC with the DX forum. Way to go, guys!
During September, the NCJ North American Sprint CW and Phone Contests
will be run. They will be on Saturday nights from 00 to 04Z. The dates
are: CW:
SSB: KU8E, ku8e at bellsouth.net, is getting up teams under the South East
Sprint Coalition banner. Please e-mail Jeff if you can participate.
Let him know power level and if you will be full time or part time. No
circle or membership requirement. Let's get a lot of guys on from the
South East and have a lot of teams for each mode.
73, John, K4BAI.
