This Week's Contests:

1.  NCCC Thursday Night Combination SNS/NS.  0200-0300Z.  Slow speed for 
first 20 mins (24 WPM or less).  No
speed limitation for last 40 minutes.  20, 40, 80, 160M.  100W maximum.  
Same band duplicates OK after one intervening
QSO.  Exchange:  Both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 040 kHz plus 
1815 on 160M.  I will be out of town and will
miss this.  Hope others will give out GA mults.

2.  CQ WorldWide DX Contest, SSB.  48 hours of Sat/Sun UTC.  160-10M 
SSB.  Exchange:  RS + CQ Zone #.  Club aggregate
score competition.  Be as active as possible for your club and include 
the club name in the header of your Cabrillo
file.  SECC members W4BW, K4UN, and W4XO will be QRV all bands from 
TI0RC.  I will be one of the ops at the multi-op
station NQ4I.

3.  10-10 International Club Fall QSO Party, Digital.  0001Z Sat to 
2359Z Sun.  10M Digital.  Exchange:  name + SPC +
10-10 member #, if any.

4.  50 mHz Fall Sprint.  23Z Sat to 03Z Sun.  6M any mode.  Exchange:  4 
character grid square.

5.  November Adventure Radio Society Spartan Sprint.  01-03Z Tuesday 
(Monday local).  5W maximum power.  80-10M CW.
Exchange:  RST + SPC + Power.  This one can be a lot of fun.  Turn your 
rig down to 5W and give it a try.

6.  80M QRP Fox Hunt.  Series starts this Tuesday.  01-0230Z Wednesday 
(Tuesday local).  Two Foxes will be QRV between
3550 and 3560 kHz.  Exchange:  RST, SPC, Name, Power.  Work only the two 
foxes.  Maximum power:  5 watts.  The 40M fox hunts will
start on Thursday night of next week, same time, 7030-7050 kHz.

Hope everyone has a nice week and weekend and a lot of QSOs.  PJ4X will 
be QRV in CQ WW SSB from the new country of Bonaire.  Also PJ2T from
new country Curacao.  Have fun!
