Comments:
CQWW Phone 2010 was certainly another enjoyable effort by our group of Costa
Rican and American ops, who normally operate as TI8M. This year for CQWW we
activated the call sign of the Radio Club of Costa Rica - TI0RC.
It was good to see much improved results on 15m, but we did not get the much
hoped for 10m opening, with most stations heard being from LU, CE and PY in
southern South America. There were some 10m stations worked in the US, Canada
and elsewhere in North America, but only Zones 32 and 35 were worked in other
than North / South directions. This was our best CQWW score in several years
and we certainly look forward to next year with even more improved band
conditions, plus another chance to visit with our TI friends.
