Todd,
Just got a chance to look at the log submissions on 3830 and looks like you
gave me one hell of a run for my money. Not sure if you were running for the
Rookie plaque or not, but if so looks like you got me but not by a whole
heck of a lot. I lost LOTS of valuable operating time because I didn't work
Friday night (due to family obligations) then Saturday night I fell asleep
early watching TV with my son. (Was well worth the time with him though) but
great score. Wish I had more time on 80/40m would have passed you up most
likely. Great job! Looking forward to the next competition. ;)

Heard PJ4A several times but only worked on 15, 20, and 40; they had
some pretty epic pileups going every time I listened. This was my
first time operating assisted. I think it worked well in this format
but not sure I'll do it in something like WPX or SS. Hope to see you
in the next one.

Comments:

I thought the bands on Sunday were much better than Saturday. 10 Meters was
open
just a bit here but never heard anything outside of SA and Caribbean. 15
meters
I thought was OK but as usual the best bands were 20 meters and below. I
thought 80 meters was in excellent condition with EU very loud and workable
here. I never thought I'd work 56 DXCC on 80 meters with a wire and 100
watts,
but that's what happened and I couldn't be happier. This years result easily
surpasses last year's scores for me. Thanks for all the Q's and look forward
to
the next one.
