1. Thursday night NCCC practice events. 0200-0225Z SNS. 20, 40, 80M
CW. 100W maximum. 26 WPM maximum speed. One kHz QSY rule. Exchange:
both calls, #, name, SPC. 0230-0259Z NS. Same rules except add 160M
band and no speed limit. This event will also run concurrently with a
celebration of K1GU (Ned in TN)'s 50 year licensing celebration. He is
offering awards and will be on 3540 kHz for a few minutes after 0300Z
for others to call.
2. JARL All Asia DX Contest, CW. 48 hours of Sat/Sun. 160-10M CW.
Exchange: RST + 2 letter age (YLs can send "00.") Work only Asian
stations.
3. SMIRK Club Contest. 48 hours of Sat/Sun. 6M voice and CW.
Exchange: SMIRK # (if you have one) and 4 character grid square.
4. Stew Perry Summer Top Band Distance Challenge. 15Z Sat to 15Z Sun.
Maximum time: 14 hours. Exchange: 4 character grid square.
5. West Virginia QSO Party. 16Z Sat to 02Z Sun. 80-10M CW, SSB,

I will be in Valdosta and will miss the weekday sprints Tuesday night.
Hope others will be QRV and give out the GA mult. I plan to try again
this weekend to find six meters open and exercise my new beam in the
SMIRK Club Contest. No doubt will make a few QSOs in All Asia and WV QP
and will see if I can work anybody on 160M in June in the first summer
