1. CW Ops CWT. Two one-hour contests yet to run today. 1900Z and 0300Z
(Friday UTC). 80, 40, 20M CW. Exchange: Name + CWOps# or SPC.
2. QRP Fox Hunt. Thursday night local. 0100-0230Z. 14050 to 14070
kHz. Two foxes will be hiding out there. One is K4BAI and one is K5DI
(NM). Exchange: RST, SPC, Name, Power. Maximum power: 5W. Please
give us both a call if the skip is short enough. Work only the two foxes.
3. NCCC NS Practice Sessions. SNS Thursday night local 0200-0220Z.
100 W maximum power, 26 WPM maximum speed. 20, 40, 80M CW. Exchange:
both calls, #, name, SPC. 0230-0259Z higher speed NS. Same rules
except no maximum speed. For this week, the exchange is both calls, #,
your first call, your first state. For this week, the bands are 15, 20,
and 40. Look around 039 to 047 kHz on the bands.
4. DMC RTTY Contest. 12Z Sat to 12Z Sun. 80-10M RTTY. Exchange: RST
+ Serial #.
5. CWOps Club Weekend CWT tests. One hour each. Saturday 1300Z,
1900Z, and 0300Z (Friday UTC). Exchange: Name + CWOps# or SPC. Here
is a chance on a weekend to have fun in CWT sprints and possibly obtain
CWOps membership nomination if you are interested.
6. NCJ North American QSO Party, RTTY. 18Z Sat to 06Z Sun. (10 hour
maximum for single ops). Exchange: Name + SPC for NA and just name for
non-NA stations. Remember the W4HOD/0 expedition to ND by ACG members.
5 member teams may be preregistered. If anyone in SECC wants to be on
a RTTY team, please contact K4BAI right away. For ACG, contact WA1FCN.
7. CQ World Wide VHF Contest. 18Z Sat to 21Z Sun. Six and two meters,
any mode. Exchange: 4 character grid square. Six meters has been hot
lately and let's hope it will be open during the contest.
8. Colorado QRP Club Colorado Gold Rush Contest. 20M CW, 5W maximum
power. 2000-2159Z Sunday. Exchange: RST + SPC + Class + Power. Work
the same station again after 30 minutes for a maximum of 3 QSOs with
each station. Bonus points for first QSO with W0CQC club station (K0FRP
operating). Classes: W = wires. B = beam. V = vertical. P =
portable (any antenna).
9. Flying Pigs QRP Club, July Run for the Bacon. Sunday night local.
0100-0300Z Monday. 160-10M CW, 5W maximum power. Exchange: RST + SPC
+ FP# or power.
10. North American QRP CW Club July Straight Key/Bug Sprint. 0030Z -
0230Z (Thursday) Wednesday night of next week local. 80-20M CW. Use
mechanical key. Maximum power 5W. Exchange: RST + SPC + NAQCC# or
power. Multiply score by 2 for hand key and by 1 1/2 for bug.
