I just received info about this one. It's a few months out so you may want
to mark your calendars.

W/VE, DX and SWL. More details at www.usislands.org.
Logs by Nov 30 to wa4ja at arrl.net, or to 1411 Oak Leaf Dr., Columbia, TN
38401. GenLog supports the W/VE Islands QSO Party for logging via computer.
Any acceptable log format, including hand-log, is welcome. Contest Manager
rescores all logs for accuracy.
This is a laid-back type of QSO Party that allows US and Canadian island
resident and non-resident stations to become popular. You do not have to
operate from an IOTA as there are qualified islands in all states, provinces
and US possessions. A list of the US state and possession islands is at
www.usislands.org. If someone finds one that could qualify for the program,
refer to the qualification requirements on the website. Note a new island
must be ?contact-qualified? by the end of the QSO Party to be an eligible
entry.
Held the weekend before the CQWW-Phone, the W/VE Islands QSO Party gives a
chance for the contest big-guns to check out antennas, receivers, amps and
discover if there are any operational bugs lurking to upset the bigger
contest. Plus they get to greet old friends and meet new ones!
