Comments:
This became quite a one man production with the addition of a trailer hitch
mounted generator and a SB-220 to the mobile.? The amp did make a
difference but also created some big pile ups.? It also melted some of the
shrink tubing on the 20 meter hamstick.? That antenna seemed to get hot in
one spot.? The 40 and 80 meter whips seemed to be the same warmth
over the whole length.? This was one of my most enjoyable mobile
expeditions as no problems developed.? The loudest station, on every band,
was N4PN.? Even the AGC couldn't handle to overload!
