After having what little antenna I had up taken down by having a
backyard tree decide to take a nap during the freeze last winter, I've
finally gotten some wire in the air again. As befits Bedsprings Brigade
Manor, it is strangely strung wire (kind of a ladder-line fed OCF
sloping V (and, yes, the OCF means that the two legs of the V are
different lengths)), but it's sufficient to actually make contacts.
Now I gotta get whatever hardware or software changes are needed to make
my shack computer *not* freeze or shut down X after a few minutes done,
and I should be ready to get back to contesting on the cheap.
