It is multimode (CW and phone). CW QSOs count 3 points; phone QSOs count
2 points. There are 58 CA counties ? only counted once regardless of mode.
CA ops will send QSO number and county abbreviation; non-CA ops will
send QSO number, state or province or DX.
Single ops can operate for a maximum of 24 hours; multi-single can
operate for 30 hours; multi-multi for 30 hours.
This is unquestionably the most popular of the US state QSO parties. Be
there...or miss the fun.
