The North GA QRP club with over 150 members and 30 at their
monthly meetings has announced the first Peanut Power Sprint for
Sept. 29. We have tried to be rather innovative with this one in several
areas (read about in the rules) but the one I'd like to call your
attention to...
The RAW category - for those running over 5 watts (as in RAW POWER).
While we'd suggest you turn the knob all the way to the left and run
less than 5 watts, we also want to welcome our high power friends
with a plaque for the highest score - over 5 watts. Also, you may
request a Peanut Power Number and decide _later_ which category
you will enter.
For full details, go the NoGaQRP.org web site and click on NoGaNuT
Pete. As a note, if you will be at the Atlanta Hamfest tomorrow,
you can stop by the NoGA booth and reserve your Peanut Number.
This is a 2 hour sprint late in the afternoon of Sept. 29. Hope you
will join us. Mark you calendar!
