[SECC] Random Thoughts About NAQP CW

The NAQP info that K4BAI posted is good stuff.
Read it carefully!

If I am running, I do not mind if someone asks to QSY.
I am using SO2R, so I do not necessarily need to stop
running for the QSY to another band. Most of the SO2R
operators will move with you if asked.

If I do not hear you calling immediately, I usually call CQ
on the frequency that was agreed to. This sometimes
results in other QSO's (and mults) because someone
else went to the frequency as well.

During the RTTY NAQP a couple of weekends ago, 10 meters
was open most of the contest from here. I was able to work
stations on the west coast very late in the contest.
10 meter activity was never good.

15 meters was terrific last night for the NCCC Sprint at 10:30 PM EDT.
80 was extremely noisy and difficult. Hopefully the QRN level will
subside tomorrow evening.

Good luck to everyone - and try to get on tonight at 10:00 PM EDT for
the NAQP practice.
