Hope everyone has a nice week and weekend and a lot of QSOs. Looking
forward, the next weekend will be NAQP SSB. I'll be glad to register
teams for a SECC team or teams. Let me know if you can be QRV. WA1FCN
is registering teams for ACG. I don't believe that GCG is yet trying to
get up teams for that one. That weekend will also be the annual
Huntsville, AL hamfest, a very nice event. On Friday night at the
Holiday Inn, the ACG and SECC (and perhaps other clubs) will host a
contesters hospitality room. There are several contest forums on
Saturday. ACG will host a dinner on Saturday night and a southeastern
contester of the year will be named. There is usually a DX Dinner on
Saturday night hosted by the North Alabama DX Club, but I haven't seen
any information on it yet.
The last Saturday in the month will be the annual CWOpen Contest(s),
sponsored by CWOps Club. Teams of up to ten members may be
pre-registered. Please let me know if you want to be on a SECC team for
this fun CW contest.
73, John, K4BAI.
