Comments:
FT1000MP, Alpha 78, 1 KW, TH6DXX, dipole, inverted vee. Started on 80 and
worked two in TN. Then was surprised to work W3KB on 80. Good idea to
start on
80. 40M was good for most of the US, but most of the upper east coast
seemed
weaker than expected. 20M was good for most of the US/VE and to F6HKA.
15 was
fair to the eastern part of the US and fair to Europe, but very strong
signals a
surprise from Ohio and Illinois stations. Prospective members worked in CWT
were K3GHH and JF1IWL. Thanks for all QSOs and hope to see you all at
0300Z.
My logging computer failed just as I made a copy of the log for 1300Z,
so I may
be using paper and pen tonight. Hope to see some of you at the
Huntsville (AL)
Hamfest this weekend. 73, John, K4BAI.
