[SECC] Need a 4 inch compression spring

HELP!  I need a 4 inch compression spring to add tension on a clutch mechanism 
for my tower wench.  The one I have seemed to be the largest Home Depot had.  
In fact in measuring the 'little  bigger' than 3/4" I.D. spring it looked 
perfect for the slightly smaller than 3/4" O.D. shaft but... Somehow it fits so 
tightly that the spring doesn't... well... spring.

Anyone know a good source for... boing... springs?
