Peace Messenger City and station in Atlanta and its suburbs send "ATL"
as an exchange and count as a multiplier. I couldn't stretch the
Atlanta suburbs as far as Columbus, but being a Peace Messenger City
sounds like a good idea.

1. CWOps Club CWT Mini Tests. Every Wednesday. 1300Z, 1900Z, and
0300Z (Thursday UCT). 160-10M CW. Exchange: Name + CWOps # or SPC.
Look around 028-038 kHz plus 1815 kHz.
2. QRP Fox Hunt 80M. 0200Z to 0330Z Friday (Thursday night local
date). Two QRP Foxes will be hiding between 3550 and 3570 kHz. Maximum
power 5W. Work only the two foxes. Exchange: RST, SPC, Name, Power.
Do not spot the foxes' frequencies. Foxes will be NC4RT, Randy in NC
and N9NE, Todd in WI.
3. NCCC RTTY Sprint Practice. 0145Z - 0215Z Friday (Thursday local
date). 20, 40, 80M RTTY. 100W maximum power. One kHz QSY rule.
Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC. Look around 080 kHz.
4. NCCC NS Ladder CW Sprint. 0230-0259Z Friday (Thursday laocal date).
20, 40, 80, 160M CW. 100W maximum power. One kHz QSY rule. Exchange:
both calls, #, name, SPC. Look around 038-046 kHz on each band plus
1815 kHz.
5. Straight Key Century Club Weekend Sprintathon. 1200Z Sat to 2400Z
Sun. 24 hours maximum time. Use mechanical key only. 160-6M CW.
Exchange: RST + SPC + Name _ SKCC# or "NONE." Bonus points for working
club call K9SKC and for working once any member with a number of 2545 or
lower (they joined in the first year). The K3Y/x anniversary stations
should also be QRV from all all areas.
6. NCJ North American QSO Party CW. 1800Z Sat to 0559Z Sun. (1 PM
Saturday to 12:59 AM Sunday local). 160-10M CW. 100W maximum power.
Exchange: Name + S/P/C for North American stations. Only Name for
those outside North America. Multipliers count per band. Team
competition for teams of two to five members. You do not have to be a
member of a club or within any geographical area to be on a team. Teams
must be pre registered. The same contest is run the next Saturday
(January 17) on SSB. K4BAI will register SECC teams for NAQP CW and SSB
before the contests begin each week. Please let me know ASAP if you can
be on a SECC team and whether you will be part or full time and whether
you will be LP or QRP. Contact N4PN for GCG teams and WA1FCN for ACG teams.
7. QRP Fox Hunt on 40M. Tuesday local date, 0200-0330Z Wednesday. Two
QRP Foxes will be hiding between 7030 and 7050 kHz. 5W maximum power.
Exchange: RST, SPC, Name, Power. Work only the two foxes. Do not spot
the fox' frequency.
