Comments:
FT1000MP, Alpha 91b, 1 KW, TH6DXX, dipole. Alpha 91b doesn't change
bands as
quickly as the Alpha 78, so I started on 40 and would have stayed there
for the
whole hour except I ran out of stations to work with about ten minutes
left.
Band conditions were very good to the west and not so good to the north
east.
My north east wire for 40 is malfunctioning, so only used the dipole, which
favors the west. 20M was good to the west coast during the last few
minutes.
No DX heard on either band. I found it relaxing and enjoyale to
"poke" along at 20 WPM. Had four QSOs with three CWA graduated who
identified themselves as such. Thanks for all QSOs and I look forward
to the
0300Z session even though it keeps me up past my usual bedtime. 73, John,
K4BAI.
