1.  CWOps Club CWT Mini Tests. Every Wednesday.  Four separate one-hour 
mini tests.  1300Z, 1900Z, 0300Z (Thursday UTC date).  160-10M CW. 
Exchange:  Name + CWOps # or SPC.  Look around 14026 to 14042 kHz on 
each band and up from 1815 kHz.

2.  NCCC RTTY Ladder Series.  Last of current ladder series.  0145 to 
0215Z Friday (Thursday night local).  15, 20, 40, 80, 160M RTTY.  100W 
maximum power.  1/1 kHz QSY rule.  Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC. 
  Look around 080 kHz and up from 1805 kHz.  Same band dupes permitted 
after one intervening QSO.

3.  NCCC NS CW Sprint Practice.  0230-0259Z Friday (Thursday night local 
date).  20, 40, 80, 160M CW.  100W maximum power.  1/1 kHz QSY rule. 
Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 040 kHz and up from 
1815 kHz.  No same band dupes permitted.

4.  Makrothen RTTY Contest.  0000-0759Z Sat; 1600-2359Z Sat; 0800-1559Z 
Sun.  80-10M RTTY.  Exchange:  4 character grid square.

5.  10-10 Day Sprint.  0001-2359Z Sat October 10.  10M all modes. 
Exchange:  Name + 10-10# + SPC.

6.  Oceania DX Contest, CW.  0800Z Sat to 0800Z Sun.  160-10M CW. 
Exchange:  RST + Serial #.

7.  Scandinavian Activity Contest, SSB.  1200Z Sat to 1200Z Sun.  80-10M 
SSB.  Exchange:  RS + Serial #.

8.  QRPARCI Fall QSO Party.   1200Z Sat to 2359Z Sun.  160-10M CW. 
Exchange:  RST + SPC + QRP ARCI # or power.

9.  Straight Key Century Club Weekend Sprintathon (WES).  1200Z Sat to 
2400Z Sun.  160-6M CW.  Use mechanical keys only.  Exchange: RST + SPC + 
SKCC# or "NONE."

10.  Pennsylvania QSO Party, 1600Z Sat to 0500Z Sun; 1300Z Sun to 2200Z 
Sun.  160-2M CW, Ph, PSK, RTTY.  Exchange:  Serial # + ARRL/RAC Section 
or PA county.  There is usually a big turn out for this QSO Party. 
Don't overlook 160M, which usually has activity on CW and phone.

11.  Arizona QSO Party.  160 - 2M CW, PH, Dig.  Exchange:  Serial # + 
SPC or AZ + county abbreviation.

12.  FISTS Fall Unlimited Sprint.  80-10M CW.  100W maximum power. 
Exchange:  RST + SPC + Name + FISTS # or power.

13.  PODXS 070 Club 160M Great Pumpkin Sprint.  2000 local time Sat to 
0200 local time Sun.  160M PSK31.  Maximum power 100W.  Exchange:  RST + 
SPC.

14. North American QRP CW Club Sprint.  0030-0230Z Wed (Tues night 
local).  20, 40, 80M CW.  Maximum power 5W.  Exchange:  RST + SPC + 
NAQCC# or power.  Double your score for use of hand key and 1 1/2 times 
your score for use of bug.  This is an anniversary event for NAQCC and 
there should be stations signing N1A through N0A giving out the NAQCC # 
of 1100.

15.  Phone Fray. Every Tuesday.  0230-0259Z.  15, 20, 40, 80, 160M SSB. 
  Exchange:  Name + SPC.  100W maximum power.  This can be a lot of fun. 
  Last night, I had CO8WG and VP2MAC call me on 40 SSB.  Jere, KT4ZB, 
ran circles around me in the Fray on 40M last night with his new beam 
even though the tower wasn't at its full height.

16. CWOps Club CWTs.  See item #1 above.

Hope everyone has a nice week and weekend and a lot of QSOs. Seems there 
is something for nearly everyone this weekend.  The low bands, 40, 80, 
and 160M are showing definite signs of improving conditions.
