Gentleman,
the only thing where TR might be a bit 'worse' than CT/NA seems
possibility of navigating thru the log file and editing it.

What could be better than 'on-line' editing of *current* QSO?
TR has lot of tools for correcting logging mistakes either in real
time either after the battle:
- Partial (and Possible) call accept key (along with the TRMASTER
database and previous contacts with certain string, saved in the
RESTART.BIN)
- Alt-F10 ('Is your call xxxxx?')
- Callsign Update feature (set CALLSIGN UPDATE ENABLE = TRUE in
Ctrl-J menu and enter correct call in the Exchange window)
- Alt-E (Up Arrow) and editing in the editable window
- Ctrl-N along with post contest error recovery

Is it *really* neccessary to edit stuffs during huge pile-ups?
(In last IARU contest, I corrected all miscoppied calls 'on-line'
and didn`t put even single note in the log. Twice or three
times, when screwed up, had to use paddle to send corrected
call, but, generally, I wrote corrected call in the Exchange window,
and it works superb indeed)!
Using Callsign Update feature and/or puting note in the log is
fast enough, and is (as for me) *faster* than navigating thru
the log file ,searching for certain string and editing it.
Anyway, stuffs 15 Q`s back are no fresh anymore, :-)

Have no ideas. TR is *great* with its ASCII log file and simpicity
which allows usage of even old 286 machines with 600 kB conventional
memory only! Such old machines are available at almost no cost even
here in Slovenia. I know personally lot of people (hams) which bought
old, 'third hand' 286`s (paid few bottles of beer for them) and begun
to study DOS basics, play with simulator, etc... The oldest one I know
(and sold him TR) is near his 70! He even uses TR for his daily general
QSOing! With his retirement incomings he can`t even dream to buy
Pentium and CT, etc... Do not forget - 90 % of people you work in the
contests are using average stations with average antennas and have
just average incomings. And, of course, inexpensive computers in
286 - 386DX class... TR with low price nad richness of features is
superb choice for them. Don`t let them down, please! Oportunity of
'full screen editing" costs too much - at least, it would require
some extra MB of memory, etc, or, otherwise, TR would lost some of
flexibility and speed.
