Well, the phone company will remember me!!
Some poor guy came out last night at 7 PM. He verified the problem is
in their stuff, not in the house. Then he drove over to another driveway
to check on the pole and got his truck stuck... I think it was about
10 PM before he got out of here.
They have found it to be a problem in the line from the pole back to their
central office. Hopefully they can fix this today. However, since I will
be on my way to Louisiana, I won't know for sure.
The good news is that it isn't the underground run from the pole to
the house - that runs through the antenna farm.
I will leave the BBS on and hopefully it will be working for those who
need it. Contact George who can send you a copy by the internet if
you need one. I will probably not be able to log in until after I
get back on Monday evening.
