I wonder if the problem with the Icom's not changing band/modes
might be related to their bi-directional buss and the inability
to receive commands while sending commands.
Maybe someone who sees this problem can run a test for me.
Change the radio poll time to once every 20 seconds or so and
see if the problem seems to go away. If it does, perhaps I need
to add a check to prevent sending commands to the radio while I
am waiting for, or receiving, a response.
Not sure if this would help the Ten-Tec or not, since there is
a full serial port there and technically the radio should be
able to talk and listen at the same time.
