Not really - although some soundcards will let you reroute the
computer speaker audio through the sound card. You might
check with KA9FOX as I have seen him do it.
I have hooked up an RCA connector to my speaker output so I can plug
my amplified speakers into it - some computers have enough output
to drive a speaker directly others are just about line level or lower.
