TR Log has just been added to the list of technologies which can't
be imported to Iraq.
Is seems that the PACKETSIMULATE command could be used as a weapon
and is now restricted from being shipped to rogue states.
TR Log's owner, N6TR was quoted as saying: "We don't use the
weapons, we just build them".
It seems that if one executes the command TR PACKETSIMULATE while
the program is interfaced to a packet node, it will bring the
system to its knees by generating a packet spot once a second.
This is done with garbage callsigns and will totally use up
the bandwidth of the cluster.
Another recent legal action against TR Log by Microsoft was recently
dismissed when Bill Gates realized that when TR Logs annual revenues
were reported as $2137, that wasn't actually billions as he had
assumed. It seems he normally sees numbers always reported in
billions and was confused.
Bill has decided that the upcoming release of WIN-TR won't be
affected by the existence of TR Log. N6TR is considering
countersuing however. If the quality of this product is
consistent to other Microsoft products, having the same name
as it would be seen as a liability.
